IVC — collapsibility & RA pressure
Calculates the IVC collapsibility index from maximal and sniff diameters and estimates RA pressure with the ASE/EACVI matrix, using secondary signs to resolve the intermediate pattern. In ventilated patients it calculates the distensibility index for fluid responsiveness instead.

Breathing
RA pressure estimation from the IVC is validated in spontaneously breathing patients
IVC diameters
Subcostal view, perpendicular to the long axis, 1–2 cm from the RA junction (proximal to the hepatic veins)
Secondary signs of raised RA pressure (for the intermediate pattern)
PASP (optional)
Adds the estimated RA pressure to the TR gradient
Estimated RA pressure
Enter the maximal and minimal IVC diameters.
