Guidelines/Evidence-based calculators and algorithms for better cardiac care.
Age, weight, height, BP, pulse, labs in any unit and echo measurements (LV dimensions, EF, peak and mean gradients…), English or Arabic. No names are kept: each patient gets a medical number.

Basic calculations
BMI with body surface area, kidney function, lab unit and temperature conversion, pulse (postural tachycardia, bradycardia and tachycardia) and blood pressure (hypertension grades, inter-limb BP difference, BP difference positional and on breathing: orthostatic hypotension, supine hypertension, pulsus paradoxus)
Pulse
Blood pressure
Cardiac arrest: adult ACLS
Adult cardiac arrest with a CPR cycle timer, reversible causes and post-ROSC care
Hypertensive emergencies
Emergency vs urgency (asymptomatic severe hypertension) triage, condition-specific targets and drugs, IV dosing and aftercare, and acute neurological BP targets for stroke, ICH and SAH
Hypertensive emergency vs urgency (= asymptomatic severe hypertension)
ECG
LVH voltage with bundle branch block, QTc, Sgarbossa, STEMI equivalents and wide complex tachycardia
Prevention
10-year cardiovascular risk, risk enhancers and modifiers, LDL-C targets, coronary calcium, and statin / aspirin / BP decisions
Coronary artery disease
Chest pain pathway from the ER to the next test, ACS risk, heart failure class and revascularisation strategy
Interventions
Cath-lab and structural decisions: complexity, bifurcation and CTO, kidneys, bleeding, DAPT, physiology, TAVI suitability and mitral TEER
Rheumatic & infective
Rheumatic fever and infective endocarditis
Echocardiography & valvular
LV systolic and diastolic function, LV mass, valve grading and intervention, Wilkins score for valvotomy, prosthetic valves, right heart and IVC
Atrial fibrillation
Stroke and bleeding risk, DOAC choice in CKD and liver disease, and stopping before surgery
Heart failure
Stages A–D and prevention, HFrEF (LVEF < 50%) drug therapy with IV iron, ivabradine and digoxin indications, HFpEF diagnosis and treatment, and devices: ICD, CRT-P and CRT-D
Cardiomyopathy
Sudden cardiac death risk in HCM
DVT & prophylaxis
DVT diagnosis, and VTE and bleeding risk for medical and surgical thromboprophylaxis
DVT diagnosis
Medical prophylaxis
Pulmonary embolism
Diagnosis with adjusted D-dimer strategies, prognosis and home treatment, bleeding on anticoagulation, treatment duration and cancer-associated VTE
PE diagnosis
PE prognosis & management
Bleeding risk on anticoagulation
Anticoagulation duration & recurrence
Medical
Diabetes and chronic kidney disease: cardiovascular risk and cardiorenal protection
Surgical: preoperative assessment
Cardiac risk before non-cardiac surgery: RCRI, functional capacity and the ESC pathway, then VTE prophylaxis with the Caprini score
Cardiovascular disease in pregnancy
Maternal risk by mWHO 2.0 class (ESC 2025) and CARPREG II; hypertension and pre-eclampsia: diagnosis, delivery, emergency drugs and magnesium sulphate
Heart disease in pregnancy
Hypertension and pre-eclampsia
New sections and cath-lab tools
Baseline risk before cardiotoxic cancer therapy (HFA-ICOS), surveillance for cancer therapy–related cardiac dysfunction, and troponin- and GLS-based decisions.
ESC/ERS 2022 haemodynamic definitions and clinical groups, risk stratification (COMPERA, REVEAL Lite 2) and the treatment algorithm for PAH.
Shunt quantification (Qp:Qs), adult congenital heart disease follow-up, and timing of intervention for ASD, VSD, PDA, coarctation and tetralogy of Fallot.
Five-item bleeding score (age, CrCl, Hb, WBC, prior bleeding) to choose short vs standard DAPT.
IVUS MSA targets per segment (5-6-7-8 rule) and post-PCI checklist.
Radial vs femoral selection, large-bore access closure and limb ischaemia checks for MCS.
