LDL-C — Martin/Hopkins equation
Estimates LDL cholesterol from the standard lipid profile using an adjustable TG:VLDL-C factor from the 180-cell Martin/Hopkins table, instead of the fixed factor of 5 in the Friedewald equation. Most useful when LDL-C is low or triglycerides are raised.
