Pulmonary embolism
Simplified Geneva Score
Simplified revised Geneva score (Klok 2008): every item of the revised Geneva score counts 1 point, except a heart rate ≥ 95 bpm, which counts 2. It performs as well as the original and is easier to use at the bedside. Three-level: 0–1 low, 2–4 intermediate, ≥ 5 high. Two-level: ≤ 2 PE unlikely (D-dimer first), ≥ 3 PE likely (CTPA).
